All Grooming Duties: Scheduling Appointments, Cleaning and

Me and 2 other groomers started their pilot location. We built this salon up from scratch. It was their first grooming salon for the entire company. I helped their location build relationships with their customers, we had to troubleshoot problems with the building design and worked on making their location the safest and best place to get trained in grooming. I worked with trainees helping them build their skills and become groomers. I also was trusted to do all of the difficult puppies due to my many years of experience.

I got my start as a bather at Petsmart when I started College. I went on to grooming academy and have continued with it as my career. I have worked at 3 different locations and trained at 2 others. I worked in the pets' hotel and with dog trainers in my time there. I tried to learn all I could to make myself a good team member. In 10 years, I did everything from helping in training ring and learning all basic training commands. I also volunteered my time during the holidays to help in the pets' hotel with check-ins and maintaining animal care. As a groomer I helped with training and was one of our safety leaders. In my time as a groomer my strongest focus has been safety. There is no strong voices or sharp movements, no tools on the grooming table and always using all safety tools and measures to make sure all dogs in my care are safe, happy and healthy.
