Ailen Ceballos

• I had the privilege to inaugurate the municipal choir of this beautiful town and worked as a choirmaster until I left. My job was to prepare them vocally, choice the songs, teach them the songs and arrange concerts.

• I was called to work as a vocal tutor for the members of the choir, since it was a vocational and not a professional group. My activities included being present during rehearsals, training them vocally, correcting them, and taking individual time with each one of them.

• I coordinated a singing workshop for children, teaching them traditional folklore songs and dances.

• I currently work as a proceedings' secretary in a Judicial Unit located near of Cordoba city. I was called after participating in a contest made by Cordoba's Justice Power earlier that year. My job consists of writing down the complaints or the police's procedures and carrying on the first steps of the legal proceedings.

• After many years of working in the music industry, I was stuck in the economic side. That’s why I decided to change paths, joining the Police Force's Emergency line. I worked here for 7 years. Started as a callcenter agent and my job was to take the calls, later on I was replaced as Radio operator, where my job was communicating the incoming commissions to the police officers, and last year, I worked as a Coordinator, where I was in charge of a group of 10 or 15 radio operators, and my job was to communicate to the authorities the events that occurred in a certain area.

• When you start teaching in public schools, your first steps are often as a substitute teacher: I worked 3 months in a Kindergarten in 2013, then other 3 months in a primary school in 2014 and finally got a permanent job in this secondary school, where I teached music to 15 year old boys and girls.

• I worked as a singing teacher, providing individual and group lessons. My job consisted in training the students vocally, picking and teaching them songs and preparing them for auditions.

• I ran a workshop to help the residents improve their state of mind through musical therapy. This was part of a larger therapy project coordinated by my mother, who was the therapist of the facility. She summoned me time to time, and my job consisted in choosing songs to try to make the residents connect with the music through listening and through singing.
