Assist ophthalmologists and optometrists in patient care by conducting initial screenings, performing diagnostic tests (like visual acuity and tonometry), maintaining equipment and ophthalmic instruments, documenting patient information accurately, and educating patients on eye care. I am capable of collaborating with other healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment. I perform specialized imaging tests such as fundus photography, corneal topography, and optical coherence tomography. I also maintain the cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and equipment.
Involved in patient care on the orthopedic floor, including feeding patients, giving them food and water, taking away food trays, repositioning patients on their beds, changing linen, dressing patients, discharging and transporting patients, as well as helping nurses and PCTs by bringing in requested supplies from the supply room, and helping them guide their patients to the restrooms, and helping with patient hygiene.
Transcribe notes and details of patient’s examination, clinical history, current complaints, and diagnosis, procedures performed, as well as physicians’ plan of care and medical orders given (stopped working in July 2022 due to summer school schedule not being flexible enough for the summer shifts).

Research Title: The Effect of Guided Deliberation on Racial Bias in the College Population (ongoing)
· Writing a literature review, setting up and creating demographics forms and questionnaires, proofreading and editing research material
· Research forum's study is to raise awareness of implicit bias, teach communication strategies that promote healthy problem-solving skills, and reduce the amount of nonproductive discourse.
