Pipe Welder

  • Pipe welding, mainly stainless pipes and sanitary pipe (sch 5-10), sum galvanized pipe.
  • Pipe ranged from 1inch- 4inch stainless, and all galvanized was 8 inch pipe (sch40), everything was tig all out.
  • Majority of the time I fitted my own pipe. Just 90's and 45's.
  • Worked mainly off of ISO's and blue prints.
  • Built supports for machines, all stainless and carbon metal.
  • Welded with S-2/S-6/ 304/ 308/ 309/ 316.

Structural Welder

  • Perform welds on pipe such as tacking the coils and welding them out, using stick road and machine welder to take the instead
  • Repair pipes that didn't pass inspection
  • Grind the bead away
  • Millwright work calibrating machinery
  • Determined welding strategies using metallurgy knowledge, geometry and welding techniques.

Structural Welder

  • Came in as a structural welder, all work was performed out of a boom lift, working from 25ft- 60ft in the air.
  • Welds were flat welds and over head welds.
  • We used a stitch weld pattern starting at 6inch pull a foot from the middle go into a 2inch weld back to 6inch.

  • Fabricate, weld and fit.
  • Fitted up pipe ranging up from 2inches- 6inchs, stainless or carbon, tig and sticked sum comboed out.
  • Use of plasma cutter and torch.
  • Bench table and other equipment to perform the job.

  • Worked off of a rig truck, everything on this job was stick and mig.
  • Pipe fitted, Weld, Structural weld, and fabricate.
  • We used 7018/6010/8010/ 309 rod aswell.
  • We made fences, custom gates, Repair farm equipment, weld pipe from 10inches- 40 inches, make duck blinds and deer stands.
