Energetic ESL Instructor experienced in teaching students from a diverse range of cultures and ethnic backgrounds. Over 20 years of classroom experience including all grades from elementary to high school. Dedicated to creating a classroom that is a comfortable place for students to learn English and gain confidence in themselves as they do. Invested in the culture of the school for both the faculty as well as the students and their families. Organized events such as a Christmas Open House where the students researched their home country and brought in their favorite ethnic foods. Families, teachers and students all enjoyed this event every year for many years! Served on Board of Directors for non-profits committed to helping the less fortunate in the community. Co-directed before school program that offered breakfast and a quick character lesson. Track record of working successfully with many different types of personalities and build relationships in spite of differences.
