As a member of the decoration committee for the, Anchorage Petroleum Wives Club. My responsibilities were creatively enhancing the overall appearance and ambiance of various events such as, corporate gatherings, social events, and the annual gala party. My responsibility included, planning, organizing and ordering supplies for the events by selecting appropriate decorative materials such as fabrics, flowers, lighting, and props to bring the vision to life. In addition to designing the decor, I also managed the installation and dismantling of the decorations and oversaw other technical aspects, such as sound and lighting. Overall, my job as an, Event Decorator was to create an immersive and visually stunning experience for all guests attending the event.
In addition to working as a physical therapy aid, I also worked as a massage therapist under the direction of the physical therapist. My responsible for treating clients included soft and deep tissue manipulation while maintaining a safe and relaxing atmosphere for the patient. The ability to be good at perceiving the clients pain tolerance and their needs through spoken language, body language and other cues, so I could modifying their treatments accordingly to their pain tolerance. I advised patients on stretching, strengthening and relaxation methods that correlated with the treatment plan that was provided by the licensed physical therapist.
My job included assisting the physical therapists by preparing treatment areas and treatment rooms with necessary supplies, setting up equipment while maintaining
cleanliness and organization. Guiding
patients through prescribed exercises, monitoring patient progress during therapy sessions. Helping patients move to and from treatment rooms. I was responsible for applying modalities; such as heat or ice packs, tens units, interferential and performed ultrasound on patients as directed by the physical therapist. My focus was on supporting the overall patient care process, while providing the best treatment possible.
