
I started my nursing career as an LPN at Johnson County Health And Rehab. While working, I continued my education and obtained my RN. I remained at JCHR and was offered a newly created position as Education and Assessment Nurse. I did new hire orientation and Medicare assessments for our skilled residents. When the ADON position opened up I accepted the position and have been in that position for three years. I'm dedicated to providing quality patient care thru proven practices and patient centered care. I highly believe in continued education and training to maintain a highly skilled staff, and that clear and concise standards are important to maintain. Fostering an environment of teamwork and interdepartmental communication is key and vital to maintaining the highest level of care and comfort for our residents.
I am looking to relocate to the Hot Springs area and would like to stay with the company that has been very good to me. I would like to continue in a leadership role because I enjoy contributing to and helping maintain an excellent facility. I would be open to and consider other roles with the understanding that a leadership role is end goal.
