Supervise all day-to-day operations of chicks, equipment and hatchery team members, including daily safety meetings, payroll, machine and counter checks and the monitoring of chick quality.
· Gather and analyze information through navel assessments, breakouts, and fertility reports to drive decisions based on data to achieve goals that include hatch, 7-day mortality, chick quality, and HOF.
· Communicate with team members regarding safety, quality and efficiency, as well as push team members to do their best and encourage them to pursue growth within the company.
· Analyze hatch data to provide the best hatch projections possible for the upcoming week, while coordinating with the broiler placement manager to fill the chicken houses accordingly.
· Supervise maintenance operations to ensure performance was up to expectations and overseeing all preventative maintenance.
· Oversee facility and equipment to ensure that all are up to date and comply with all federal, state, and Tyson Foods, Inc. environmental and safety guidelines and expectations.
