Starting work at a young age in a busy restaurant taught me how to think critically under pressure while maintaining a clean and safe environment—skills that naturally carry over to lab settings. I also have hands-on experience caring for animals in both farm and pet environments, which deepened my understanding of animal behavior and handling. Through AP Biology and AP Chemistry, I developed a solid foundation in lab protocols and scientific practices, while AP Psychology sparked my interest in neuroscience and experimental research. This combination of real-world responsibility, academic preparation, and interest in brain and behavior makes me a strong fit for a neurological assistant position, particularly one involving small animal research and testing.
