- While working on my advanced degree, I served as a substitute at various schools in the Springdale School District. During this time, I have been a preferred substitute for many schools. Administered the English Language Development Assessment (ELDA) at Springdale High School reading over 100 speaking exams each year.

- The Census created an exciting employment opportunity for me. I was selected to serve as a census worker upon passing the government examination. During the training process, I was selected as one of two Crew Leader Assistants from a pool of 20 applicants. Crew Leader Assistants completed and reviewed paperwork in addition to dealing with difficult people. I successfully completed all difficult census applications.
Crawford County Extension Educator, Van Buren, AR

- Serv-Safe In cooperation with Sebastian County, I taught Serv-Safe to 40 participants from various restaurants in Fort Smith and Van Buren. Our success rate on the exam was 98%. We partnered with the local Department of Health, Sanitation Services to teach the course. On the Serv-Safe administrator exam, I scored a 98% out of 100.
Scott County Extension Agent, Waldron, AR

- Health and Education Coalition Our Health and Education Coalition was highlighted in Little Rock as one of the most successful coalitions in the state. I served as Chair of Scott County Health and Education Coalition for over a year. During this time our coalition completed the following projects.
- Coordinated Tyson Health Fair for plant employees, each employee received free health screenings in addition to fruit donated by local grocery stores.
- Organized Family Care Fair which reached 500 middle school students and provided medical screenings to rural youth, in cooperation with coalition members we contacted local health care providers. Dental, vision, and health services were provided for all 500 youth.
- Provided guidance to the Scott County Clean-up and EHC volunteers served doughnuts and milk to clean-up participants.
- Coalition members worked cooperatively to secure materials to build cabinets in three schools to store food for the back-pack program. Coordinated efforts with Rice Depot to deliver food to school backpack locations.
- Presented PowerPoint to Priester National Health Conference on the success of our coalition, Phoenix, AZ.
