I started Tokusen January 2nd of 2014 as a material handler. And shortly after got promoted to a Stranding operator in April after my 90-day probation period. From there I spent 8 years learning and mastering the ins and outs of my machines, and how to run them effectively with minimal downtime. Able to efficiently run every product we sold and weld every product as well.
Two years-ago I took the opportunity to go to the EQ department as a Preventive Maintenance Tech, before landing my current role as an ETA (Electrical Tech Apprentice) In my two years of maintenance I’ve spent most of it being a breakdown mechanic for the stranding department, doing anything that needs done to get the machine back running from simply swapping bearings on pulleys to belts or replacing a hoist and including the repair or replacement of 3 phase motors and inverters/drives. As well as working on and helping where needed in other department breakdowns with experience in air compressors, pumps, plumbing, boiler repairs and operating.
Dedicated and safety-conscious Machine Operator with nearly 15 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, with a focus in the safe and efficient operation of machinery to meet production goals. While also bringing 2 years of experience as a Maintenance and Minor Electrical Technician, with experience in equipment repair, minor electrical troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance. Committed to ensuring workplace safety by adhering to all safety protocols and standards while maintaining high-quality production outputs. I have a strong work ethic, great attention to detail, and problem solving skills in dynamic environments.
