Community Service

 In my current work setting I have had the opportunity to participate in many projects throughout the company, I provide seminars on new nurses orientation to the hospital about the vascular access team. I participate as a member of our unit’s council, where we provide education to other team members about all units policy and procedures, I have had the opportunity to coach and train nurses and nursing students in a way that is safe and effective to patient care, I also participate as an ambassador for our company’s engagement surveys to help track retention and promote a healthy work environment. In my academics I was the president of our school’s chapter of National Student Nurses Association where I helped collaborate with my team of officers to help facilitate community service projects around the neighboring areas.
