- I led the design and implementation of a comprehensive "Maintenance Software" to optimize corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance processes. The application included the digitization of work requests and work orders, enabling real-time tracking of task status. Modules for planning and scheduling preventive and predictive maintenance were integrated, allowing for the anticipation of failures and reduction of equipment downtime. The software's implementation resulted in increased operational efficiency, a significant reduction in maintenance costs, and improved equipment availability. It also allowed for better management of internal and external resources, optimizing the allocation of personnel and materials.
- I directed a material standardization project to resolve a dispersed and redundant inventory. The primary challenge was the existence of numerous material codes for identical products, causing inefficiencies in inventory management and higher storage expenses. By conducting a thorough analysis and implementing a unified cataloging system, I successfully reduced the inventory from 25,000 to 7,000 item codes. Materials were properly cataloged by family, category, and subcategory, streamlining inventory identification, tracking, and management. This project led to decreased inventory costs, and improved inventory data accuracy.
- I spearheaded a "Material Requirements Planning (MRP) System" for comprehensive material management within the company. The project encompassed the configuration and deployment of the system, enabling the automation of key processes such as material reservation, dispatch, return, purchase, and receipt. This significantly improved inventory visibility and control, reduced response times, and optimized procurement costs. Furthermore, the MRP system facilitated better production planning, ensuring the availability of necessary materials at the right time. The implementation included staff training on system usage and the creation of reports and dashboards for performance monitoring.
