As the Head of QA at Fintech Consulting Services, I lead the manual and Automation QA team. I implement and carry out the QA strategy for all products. Validating quality throughout the development cycle, from the assembly of automation frameworks to Smoke testing in prod.

I manage a team of 25 Specialists of 7 different nationalities, distributed in 5 locations throughout the world(Paris, Barcelona, Turin, Milan, Buenos Aires)

My Core scope includes:

• Implement the QA strategy for the entire company
• Hire and scale Manual QA and QA Automation teams
• Lead initiatives to boost tooling, automation and integration speed, focusing on developer productivity, release velocity and product quality
• Maintain and improve tooling of testing frameworks servicing the entire TheFork engineering community
• Improve existing processes, find innovative ways to enhance the quality at TheFork with a constant and proactive technical watch on test and quality tools and processes
• Coach and evangelize product and engineering community on QA goals and best practices

Some achievements:

• Design and Implement a QA strategy, aligned with the company culture, the structure of the teams always oriented to promote quality at all levels of the development life cycle
• Implement 3 Quality gates
• Being able to detect 80% of the issues in early instances, such as UAT and integration
• Hire 21 talents between manual QA and QA Automation
• Based on the budget analysis and the proposed strategy, I put together a solid team
• I distributed the manual QA within each vertical, with a process defined in Jira, where 100% of the tasks have transparency and traceability with the test cases generated in TestRail. The QA automation team is responsible for approving all the releases that go to production, either by CI or when they fail, requiring a manual review, supporting between 80 and 100 deploys per week
• Web framework stabilization

• Provide direction and management of quality assurance processes from strategic planning to tactical activities
• Define and execute quality measurements systems consistent with PCI- SOC II and
• HIPAA compliance, providing permanent input to key stakeholders
• Define and Review Career plans
• Work with Talent development team in the definition of career plans including training, coaching and evaluations of each team-member
• Work with executives to find the right balance between velocity and process adherence
• Support Leaders in executive management
• Provide long-term Quality Assurance vision
• Implement Mobile and web Automation.

I manage a team of 14 Specialists
