I am a medical doctor graduated from the University of Buenos Aires, specialist in internal medicine and critical care medicine, with a Ph.D. in medicine from the University of Freiburg in Germany.
After finishing my medical education at the University of Buenos Aires in Argentina, I worked as a researcher at the University of Freiburg, where I completed my PhD in multiple myeloma. Afterwards, I continued working as a PostDoc and published several peer-reviewed articles in translational and clinical research in the field of hematology and oncology. During this period, I have authored and co-authored several conference abstracts and presentations.
I completed my clinical training, in internal medicine first and later on in critical care medicine, at the University Hospital in Freiburg. During my clinical training I continued working on clinical research, changing my research focus to topics mostly related to critical care and cardiology.
With 16 years of experience in patient care, I have worked during the last 10 years as an attending physician at the Department of Interdisciplinary Medical Intensive Therapy of the University Hospital in Freiburg until July 2026, when I decided to return and continue working in Argentina.
I am fluent in English, German and Spanish.
Growing up, living and working in a multicultural environment might have not only contributed to further develop my language knowledges, but also to shape my empathy, adaptability, communication skills and critical thinking.
