My passion for photography first began at 17 after traveling to Nepal on an assignment with my auntie, a journalist, to explore the culture and the lives of the local people there. After spending a month interviewing and taking photos of the locals and the landscapes, I realized how important it is to capture the realities of everyday life and to give a voice to those so often left unheard, even if only through the lens of a camera.

I have always been fascinated with the complexities of different cultures and how stories can be communicated through the lens of a camera. While I do greatly enjoy the process of discovering stories and taking pictures, I only hope that my work can act as a window into the lives of those around us who are too often neglected and ignored.
