• I strive to keep a clean and maintained vehicle. This requires routine pre- and post-trip inspections to evaluate vehicles and assess maintenance needs after each shift.

• Followed proper safety procedures and protocols while loading, unloading and operating company equipment and vehicles. Loads are to always be secured in trailers to avoid damage to parcels during delivery.

• I collaborated with supervisor of transportation to schedule driving test dates and times for new hires.

• Conducted new hire training on company equipment, routes and road conditions.

• I instructed the importance of regulations and company policies, Company expectations whereas the employee is the face of the company. Along with preferred work methods and safety procedures.

• I evaluated trainees performance, provided corrective actions and scored the trainees on their knowledge and ability to conduct... pre- and post-trip inspections,

driving cours, hooking/unhooking trailers, backing into docks and basic handling of the trucks.

• Every day that I am scheduled to work I inspect four different company facilities. I identify and log all equipment on the yards. I inspect for any obvious maintenance issues, loaded trailers and company vehicles. I document all findings and pass along the info to dispatch and the manager on duty.
