Started as account rep and after a short time was promoted to billing commercial and working payer rejections. A few years later added AR Medicaid to by billing and their rejections. When Mercy bought out St Joseph’s my role changed into a liaison between the two facilities to work through all the billing issues. Later I moved to reporting and working billing edits for commercial and Medicaid. Last promotion was to working all payers rejections for all Facilities which were across multiple states. With this I had to find trends and put in recommendations for fixes to prevent the rejections which required working with multiple departments.
