Summary

I am a law enforcement professional with four and a half years full time experience as a School Resource Officer and Patrolman with the Pocahontas Police Department. I am certified as an instructor and firearms instructor through the Arkansas Commission on Law Enforcement Standards and Training (CLEST). I have completed many certified classes related to law enforcement through CLEST, Regional Counter drug Training Academy (RCTA), Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training (ALERRT) and Arkansas State Safe Schools program. For the last three years I have assisted the Law Enforcement Training Academy (LETA) at BRTC as an adjunct instructor in the subjects of active shooter and fire arms qualifications. Prier to working in Law Enforcement I spent twelve years in the offshore oil and gas industry, the majority of this time I served as a Subsea Engineer with five of those years serving as the Sr. Engineer and department head. I served in the United States Army as a Combat Engineer from 2003 to 2006, with two tours in Iraq. During my time in the Army I achieved the rank of Sargent and was awarded numerous awards for my service. I currently have an Associates Degree in general study's and have intuitions to start my Bachelors degree with in the next six months.
