Personal experience in football
My role at Club Atlético San Isidro and my passion for football (played at amateur level until age 53) exposed me to various fundamental aspects of football player development, including technical, physical, and mental training. I also focused on 'invisible training' elements such as nutrition, sleep habits, and constructive use of free time. Incorporated sports psychology tools, such as mental rehearsals, visualization, relaxation exercises, emotional management during matches, and focus strengthening, both in club settings and my private practice. Accompanied and supported my son, Mateo, a professional footballer, through his development in top Argentine clubs (Racing Club, Gimnasia Esgrima de La Plata) and in Europe (Burgos and Ciudad de Getafe in Spain; Marignanese Cattolica in Italy; and Lancy FC in Switzerland). This experience enriched my understanding of diverse training methodologies and cultural influences on player development.
