Supply Chain Application (Atlas Program)

Support development & rollout of Atlas WMS solution

Atlas is a multi-tenant, modular, cloud-based WMS built in-house aimed to replace the legacy GLS classic WMS application system for grocery & ecomm Distribution centers

• Oversee a distributed, multinational software team of 13 engineers in the U.S and India
• Implementation of robust Test strategy enabling on-time, high quality deliverables
• Foster collaboration among product, development, and quality engineering teams
• Optimize Regression Test suites for functional validation through automation and ensure effective Test Coverage
• Monitoring overall quality and timelines of testing deliverables
• Established end-to-end integration testing of entire Atlas application and external components to identify potential impacts before production deployment.

Supply Chain Application (Legacy WMS)

Develop and support Global Logistics System, a warehouse management system (WMS) and supply chain application used all Walmart distribution centers and e-commerce fulfillment centers in the U.S

• Built a team of multinational software team of 13 engineers across U.S
• And India
• Managed the overall quality and timelines of GLS releases across 9 markets which covers 250 DC globally
• Added key features to the WMS application that manages the 40+ Grocery distribution centers that ships to stores across US.

Kohl's ecommerce application

Responsible for transformation strategy, planning and implementation of IT digital transformation across e-commerce with 3 different programs such as mobile app and Web user interface and Bigdata re-architecture from Hive to Google cloud big query for ecommerce platform

• Supervise a geographically dispersed software team consisting of 28 engineers situated in the United States and India
• Managing client mobile/Ecommerce/Bigdata project schedules, identifying challenges, removing roadblocks and clearly communicating status to project stakeholders
• Managed 24/7 e2e support team to be on standby for immediate troubleshooting and triaging production issues during the holiday season and to roll out hotfix as needed
• Planned, managed and executed rigorous simulation test programs for Black Friday, Cyber Monday price flips in Pre-prod environments.

WMS & Transportation

Managed delivery of multiple projects across WMS and transportation portfolios for Walmart account where wipro team was responsible for e2e quality engineering

• Led and oversaw teams in both the US and India, managing a yearly budget of USD 6 million
• Driven process improvements and quality initiatives to ensure zero customer compliance & achieve delivery excellence
• Managed the overall quality and timelines of GLS releases across 9 markets which covers 250 DC globally.
