Business Developer / Key Account Manager

Ovidio IT is an Argentine based IT consultancy, that specializes in IT recruitment and outsourcing, presenting LATAM based IT professionals for clients globally.


When I joined Ovidio IT, they had a strong client based around South America and some in Europe, but they hired me with the intention of expanding further into the USA market.


My role at Ovidio IT can be split into 3 parts; being a Business Developer, being a Key Account Manager and being a Recruiter with my responsibilities being:

  • Building a new English focused sales strategy and outreach structure for US based company.
  • Created and maintained database containing information on business proposals and contacts.
  • Prospected for new business opportunities via cold-emailing, building out my own lead generation lists and networking.
  • Managing several clients, working as a Key Account Manager, responsible for any and all communication between Ovidio IT, our candidates and the clients.
  • Working closely with the recruitment team and on several searches do my own sourcing and full life-cycle recruitment

Sales Lead

Joined an early stage, basically "pre-launch" healthcare marketing agency operating out of Miami, FL.


There was no team members nor any sales structure in place. They had 4 active clients and had a goal to launch their website and hit 10 active clients within 6 months.


During my time, I worked on the following:

  • Building a sales strategy and structure from scratch
  • Worked on Lead Generation and also outreach methodologies
  • Cold-calling and cold-emailing independent medical practitioners within the Dental and/or Chiropractic medical fields to generate new business
  • Co-lead sales calls with one or both of the founders


During my 3 month contract, I was able to assist the company via doubling their active clients list and was able to generate several other hot leads.

Client Services Specialist

Umbrex is a community/network of former MBB and Big 4 management consultants whom are now working as independent consultants. Umbrex works directly with Fortune 1000's to fill consulting positions on a global scale.


As the Client Services Specialist, I was reporting directly to the Director of Client Services, with a dotted line to the Managing Partner.


Serving as a Recruiter, I was responsible for sourcing, interviewing and submitting candidates (independent consultants) to our clients within a 24-48 hour period since we engaged with a client. In addition to my role, I was also working closely with the Managing Partner on new business development strategies and outreaches.

Ruckus is an Executive Recruitment Agency, working on filling positions within Startups in the US Market.

I started working as an Executive Recruiter and during my last 3 months my focus shifted to New Business Development as the Partnerships Executive.

As a Recruiter I had the following abilities:

  • Lead Executive level searches for a variety of clients across several industries in the startup space including, Consumer Goods, SaaS, Digital-Tech, E-commerce, etc.
  • Build relations and maintain thorough communication with clients, hiring managers and candidates throughout the entire search
  • Lead the full recruiting funnel for a variety of roles, on a Manager, Director, VP and C-Suite level. (Initial Sourcing - Role filled)
  • Work with recruiting teams and human resources representatives to accomplish hiring objectives.

As the Partnerships Executive, I have the following responsibilities:

  • Build Relationships & Partnerships between Ruckus and Startups + PE/VC firms within the US Market
  • Do deep research on potential companies and senior individuals at these companies to make sure that there is a professional as well as a personal connection
  • Reach out to individuals via multiple platforms, including LinkedIn + Recruiter, Twitter, Recruiterflow CRM, cold emails, etc. Then schedule in initial conversations between myself, our CEO and the interested parties.
  • Focusing on companies that has a niche in the Blockchain, Crypto, Web3, Biotech, Green Energy, Digital-tech, Fin-tech, etc. spaces

Global Executive Search Consultant / New Business Developer

TXT International is a Global Executive Search Firm, working with Multi-billion dollar companies across the globe with a Contingency Fee based structure.

During my time at TXT International, my role as a Global Executive Search Consultant included the following responsibilities:

  • Worked as a Key Account Manager for 2 Multi-National/Multi-Billion Dollar Companies, where I was fully responsible for all client communications and interactions whilst also running an executive search for them
  • Worked as a Candidate Generator for 17 Executive Level Searches across 14 different Multi-National/Multi-Billion Dollar Companies, running the full recruiting cycle
  • Worked as a New Business Developer, engaging directly with potential clients to source new business for TXT International
  • Worked with RDB ProNet CRM, LinkedIn + LinkedIn Recruiter, ContactOut, Microsoft Office + G-suite

As an Executive Recruiter, I would source and directly approach candidates for executive positions, have introductory and full interview conversations with the candidates, prior to presenting the most suitable ones to the client all within 5 working days.
