Roberto Sanhueza

Research on the neurospecific variant of lysine demethylase 1 (neuro-LSD1), focusing on its interaction with other proteins. My work involved techniques such as restriction enzyme cloning, recombinant protein expression in cell lines and E. coli, co-immunoprecipitation, GST pull-down assay and western blot.

During the first semester of 2023, i worked as a TA for the course on Molecular Pharmacology, by the Faculty of Biological Sciences of Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. My tasks included making and grading tests and directing group work sessions.

Research on Neurospora crassa circadian biology. Currently implementing tools for regulation of circadian clock proteins. My work involves plasmid construction by yeast homologous recombination and recombinant protein expression in Neurospora crassa.
