I've have worked in this facility for 14 years with experience in primary, secondary processing and in packaging. In my time here I've learned patience,understanding and accountability for not only myself but as well for others. Since becoming a team leader some of the challenges I faced was learning AS400, prioritizing my presence on and off the floor for my team; by communicating and helping to problem solve. I now have a better knowledge of AS400 and it is no longer a challenge. I optimize my presence on the floor by what is priority as far as scheduling and maintenance calls. I know the expectation that is asked of me from my manager and I communicate those same expectations to the team. I make sure to implement the importance of safety, do things right the first time and when in doubt stop, notify a lead, quality and manager. I know that attitude reflects leadership so everyday I ensure to maintain a positive attitude and the goal for the department is that we hit the attainment numbers.
