I started Super Smiles Dentistry in June 2016 as a Dental Assistant while still in college.
Obtained certifications in CPR, Nitrous Oxide, Coronal Polishing, Radiographs, and monitoring sedated patients.
My duties there included but were not limited to: polishing teeth, sitting chairside to assist the dentist, completing chart notes, communicating with the patient and parent about dental health concerns and needs, take radiographs, sterilizing instruments, creating treatment plans, presenting treatment plans to patient parents, answering phones, scheduling patients, sending insurance claims, and any other duties required.
Front and back office experience
The atmosphere in the work place changed frequently.
Working in the front and back office allowed me to sharpen my abilities in adjusting to the pace needed for the task at hand.
