• Family Medicine : Rural Health Experience (3 years) - Skills learned included lab interpretation, XR interpretation, joint injections, digital rectal exams, I & D, and skin biopsy. - Joint Injections - Prostate Health (prostatitis, BPH, erectile dysfunction) - Preventative health maintenance: mammogram, PSA, colonoscopy, immunizations, etc. - Pap Exam and cervical cytology - Skin Biopsy - Clinical decisions regarding CT, MRI, X-Ray, or other imaging services. - Utilizing lab services appropriately.
• Advanced Wound Care: Wound Care Certified - Debridement - Skin Grafts - Snapshot NIR - Dressing changes, coordinating care team for best outcomes - Vascular Management (compression, imaging when appropriate and referrals when needed)
