Member of the core faculty for the internal medicine program since its inception, member of the program evaluation committee for the internal medicine program and subspecialty coordinator for Critical Care Medicine and Pulmonary diseases.

Actively involved in teaching and mentoring internal medicine residents. Actively involved in curriculum development for the internal medicine residency program in the context of critical care medicine and pulmonary diseases. Actively involved in resident evaluation and overall program vision with program leadership.

I serve as the ICU medical director at a level 2 trauma center and I have been intimately involved with managing the overall direction and vision for Critical Care Medicine at CHI St Vincent Hospital. I oversee quality metrics and outcomes in the ICU in close collaboration with the physician, administrative and nursing teams. I have served in this position since the beginning of the COVID 19 pandemic and remain committed to this role.

Board-certified staff physician with the department of pulmonology and critical care medicine. Team-based split staffing model with time spent in ICU is an intensivist with a focus on intensivist driven care in an open ICU model. The ICU is a high acuity ICU with high turnover at a regional referral center that serves a population of roughly 350,000 people in the South Arkansas region. Extensive experience with all aspects of critical care medicine. In addition to critical care medicine, time was also spent doing consultative work on the inpatient medical wards for the department of pulmonology as well as staffing and outpatient pulmonary clinic with all aspects procedural pulmonary medicine.
