This is my family's single malt whisky distillery located in Patagonia Argentina. I have work here from december to march, when i am not in montana, conducting all daily operations.
Grading barley and malting in a 800KG drum vessel.
Mashing and distilling,
Maintaining and cleaning equipment, improving efficiency and quality standards.
I also give distillery tours in the evenings when distillation process is done.
I have been involved in the family business since i was a kid, I used the knowledge learned to start a sister distillery in montana with almost identical equipment and process procedures.
I have worked this job 9 months out of the year from march until december for the past 4 years.
Operating and maintaining machinery for Planting spraying and harvesting barley and wheat.
I was also in charge of grading barley for malting and carrying out the malting process in a drum type vessel.
Together with my employer and family we started a single malt distillery witch we built from scratch, I was involved in most of the construction work, equipment design, layout and startup.
Once the distillery was running i was in charge of all distillery operations, mashing distilling and warehouse duties as well as reporting production.
